Duties include

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
  • Design, develop, code, test, and implement enterprise web applications using Java and J2EE technologies.
  • Develop applications using Java, JSP, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring JPA, Spring Security, Hibernate, Struts, JSF (RichFaces, PrimeFaces, ICEfaces), and JDBC.
  • Build and maintain RESTful and SOAP web services, XML DTDs/Schemas, and API integrations.
  • Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Java 8, Spring Framework, Hibernate, and Microservices Architecture.
  • Design and develop responsive frontend applications using Angular (2, 8, 11, 13, 15), React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS/SCSS, Bootstrap, jQuery, JSON, and AJAX.
  • Develop core backend billing processes and embed business intelligence solutions using Core Java.
  • Design and implement multi-threaded backend processes and J2EE-based frontend applications.
  • Follow software development best practices, coding standards, and secure coding principles.
  • Collaborate with business users, project managers, solution architects, technical architects, team leads, and database analysts throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Design and develop custom enterprise web applications using distributed architectures.
  • Develop new features, enhancements, modifications, and bug fixes for medium to complex enterprise software applications.
  • Perform application integration, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure software quality.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to development team members.
  • Work closely with system architects and database analysts on application design, technology selection, and new feature implementation.
  • Optimize server-side code for high performance, scalability, and efficiency.
  • Maintain and enhance existing enterprise applications using modern Java and web technologies.

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, and 5 years of experience.
